Double bridge into the Tauber Valley

Double is better

When the double bridge was built in the 14th century, the planners weren’t drunk – at least, not as far as we know. The original first bridge simply turned out too short, so a second one was built over the Tauber. In the Middle Ages, the double bridge served as a toll bridge and today it is a popular photo spot, as from here you have a unique view of the elevated town silhouette of Rothenburg.
